* KEEP LIFE IN PERSPECTIVE *

"Do a deed of Simple kindness,
Though its end you may not see;
It may reach, like widening ripples,
Down along eternity."
--Norris

Life is full of choices. Every choice we make creates a ripple effect in our lives and the lives of people around us. All the choices we had made determine where we are and what we are becoming. This simply shows what we really love, what we want and what we think.

This reminds me of a an email forwarded by a friend and I chose to share it hoping that it may create a ripple effect.

... read on and be inspired.

Mangrove Planting in Pilar

I'm fortunate that I was able to participate in our company's initiated activity-Mangrove Planting in Pilar. A 5th class municipality in the province of Cebu located at The Camotes Islands. The Camotes Islands consist of 4 islands, one of those is Ponson Island where Pilar is located.

We took the route Cebu-Ormoc via "slow-boat" leaving Cebu at 10:00 pm. We arrived at Ormoc at dawn then we rode on a ferry going to Pilar. Despite the lack of sleep and the fact that we were not able to take a bath was all gone as the beauty of nature unfolds as the sun begins to rise while we were in the ferry.

Although this is my 2nd time to participate in mangrove planting, I still feel the same level of excitement and proud in every propagule I bury on the muddy ground. I felt a sense of fulfillment to think that I contributed something in my own little way.
